Dennis W. Winkler, 68, passed away after a long battle with cancer at home in Waukegan on April 4, 2010. He was born July 2, 1941. Survived by his wife of 30 years, Darlene K. Winkler; five children, Michael Winkler, Shelly Glover, Scott (Deanna) Winkler, Shannon (Alice) Kramer, Julie (Bill) Buchanan; 13 grandchildren; siblings, Lyle (Diane) Winkler, Bruce (Laurie) Winkler, Linda (Kent) Ravens. Preceded in death by his parents, Ida and Walter Winkler; sister, Dorothy Haworth. Visitation at Marsh Funeral Home on Thursday, April 8, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a short prayer service at 7:00 p.m. for those who wish to stay. Burial private.
