Christopher John Merz, age 59, of Waukegan, Illinois passed away on Monday November 26, 2018. Christopher was born March 13, 1959 in Waukegan, IL. to Judith and John Merz. He was a carpenter. Christopher is survived by his parents, John (Judith nee Milewski) Merz; loving wife Donna Mallory Merz; brothers, Daniel (Diane Urbanik) Merz and Scott Merz; children, Renee Merz, Ashley (Kellie) Lennon Peacock) Merz, Derek, Brian and Sarah Mallory, Blake Swanson; grandsons, John McMahon, Aidan Merz, Jaden Mallory; very special aunt Audrey Berg; special uncle Gary Murphy; special friends, Justin Richard, J.D. Swigert, Dan Fournier, Michael Joseph Jasinski.

A visitation for Christopher will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL
