Bill Corbett

Bill completed his academic studies at Control Data Institute. His professional career included working at Good Shepherd Hospital, was owner of A-Plus Laser Cartridges, and worked in the Technology Department of Gurnee School District #56 for 26 years.

Bill married his high school sweetheart Deborah (Howell) Corbett on April 7, 1979. They spent 42 wonderful years together. His many and varied hobbies included gardening, road rallies with his best buddy Gary, bicycling, launching rockets, flying model airplanes, fantasy football, photography and coin collecting.

Bill loved spending time with family and friends. He was blessed to be uncle to 16 nieces and nephews and great uncle to 5. Bill’s quick wit and ready smile will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survived by his wife Deborah, mother Joan, sister Colleen, brothers Robert (Mary Ellen) and Michael. Brothers-In-law, Douglas (Denise) Howell, Greg (Carleen) Howell, Keith (Shari) Howell.

Preceded in death by his father William, sister Jennifer (Corbett) Dennis, nephew Robert William Corbett, and in-laws Marilyn and Wes Howell.
