She was born on November 25th,1948 in Monroe Wisconsin to Edwin & Lola Aeschlimann. Bertha retired from Warren Township High School where she worked as a security officer and in school suspension teacher in 2010 to care for her late husband who was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Bertha married the love of her life Jesse Feltner on October 31st 1972 and resided in Waukegan Illinois with her husband and their 3 children. On June 26th 1990 she lost her only son Raymond "Ray" Aeschlimann to a fatal motorcycle accident.
Bertha is survived by 2 daughters Barbara "Johnny" Dunn and Lola Feltner Rowe, 5 Grandchildren Dylan Cizerle, Tanjay Cizerle, Raelynn Rowe, Chase Dunn, Jessica Rowe, and 1 Great Grandchild Remington Hissong. 1 Brother Kenneth Aeschlimann and a slew of "street kids", extended family, and many friends.
She loved to play bingo, cards, go to garage sales, and spent much of her time on her computer playing games. She enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino to play the slots and eat crab legs. The final year of her life she was a devoted "Gigi" to her great Grandson Remi whom she taught many things. She loved to sing to him, play with him, rock him to sleep, and watch their favorite cartoon CoComelon.
Visitation will be held at Marsh Funeral Home in Gurnee, Illinois on Tuesday January 24th 2023 from 4:30pm to 8:30 pm. Funeral will also be held at Marsh Funeral Home in Gurnee Illinois on Wednesday January 25th 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Service will begin at 11:00 am and interment to follow at Stavers Cemetery in Monroe Wisconsin.
