William George Thomas Hesmer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joe Hesmer who passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on January 18 ,2023 at the age of 81.

Loving husband to Patricia for 57 wonderful years. Proud and loving father to Stacia (Dave), Lyssa (Stephen), Chris (Shelley) and Aaron (Katalin). Cherished grandfather (Pop Pop) to Dakota (Cody), Dallas, Noah, Avery, Julia, Joey, Alex, Nick, and Tommy. Treasured great grandfather to Jaxson. Loving brother to Marylou and late husband Jack, his late brother Jimmy and his wife Linda. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Joe will be missed by his dearest friends Reg/Carol and George/Diane as well as his extended family from the race track and the trucking community.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph, where the family invites friends and relatives to join them for visitations on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm and Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 12:00pm-2:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 28, 2023 in the Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a reception in the Hart Chapel Fellowship Lounge.
