Wally Smith

SMITH, Walter Norman (Wally) Passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at the Guelph General Hospital at the age of 49. Beloved husband and best friend of Patricia Doyle. He will be deeply missed by his loving and adoring children Jagger and Tabitha. Wally will be sadly missed by his mother Lillian Smith and his siblings, Marion, Thelma, Hannah, Roy, Allan (Maureen), Keith, Robert, Barbara (Francis), Edith, Cora Lee (David) and their families, along with his loving mother-in-law, Jackie Doyle. Predeceased by his father Arthur Smith (1995) and his father-in-law Francis Doyle (2009). He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and most of all his numerous friends and neighbours. Wally will be remembered for always being a phone call away when needed and most of all for his infectious laugh. Wally was a long time member of the Royal City Fishing Club. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Monday, June 4, 2012 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation to take place.
