Shelley Ann McArthur

Shelley Ann McArthur, surrounded by her beloved family, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024, at the age of 60. Shelley's dedication to her family was evident in her 40 beautiful years of marriage to her cherished husband, Kelly. As a devoted mother, she lovingly nurtured her children, Kurt (Juliann) and Brooke (Dave), and took immense pride in being a grammy to her precious grandchildren: Kruz, Elle, Isla, Kash, Halle, and Kenzie.

Shelley was the adored daughter of Marnie and the late Dave Manes. She will be lovingly remembered as a dear sister to Mike (Monica), John (Leigh), and Tom (Ashleigh), as well as a beloved daughter-in-law to Gordon and Reta McArthur. Additionally, she was a cherished sister-in-law to Theresa Lane (the late Rick), Annette Montgomery (Peter), Jackie St. Denis (Peter), and Kent McArthur.

Shelley's warmth and unwavering kindness touched the lives of her extended family and countless friends, all of whom cherished her deeply.

A true lover of life, Shelley had a passion for horses and travel, and she had a unique gift for bringing joy and laughter to every gathering. Although she preferred to stay out of the limelight, her natural sociability drew people to her, making everyone feel valued and appreciated. Family was the essence of who Shelley was; she never missed a family gathering and found her greatest happiness in spending time with her grandchildren, who were the absolute joy of her life. From cheering them on at dance recitals and sporting events to spending individual quality time with each of them, she made every moment special.

Shelley's spirit—filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion—will forever be etched in the hearts of all who knew her. While we mourn the loss of such a beautiful soul, we will carry her memory with us, ensuring she is never forgotten and will always be deeply missed.

A celebration of Shelley’s life will take place at a later date, surrounded by those who loved her.
