Rita Berno

Berno Rita (nee Menegotto)— Peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 20th, 2011 at the Guelph General Hospital, at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by her beloved Husband Antonio (1973). Loving Mother of Gino and his Wife Bonnie and Gloria and her Husband Mario. Cherished Nonna of Christopher, Renata and her Husband Tymothy, Melissa and her Husband Bob, Nicholas and his Wife Erin, Assunta, Martina and her Fiancée Matt and Odessa. Caring Bisnonna of Gabriella, Sophia, Francesca, Amelia, and Jack. She is survived by her Sisters Ada Salvador and Clara Caspon, both of Italy. Predeceased by her Brother Gino Menegotto (1991). She will be sadly missed by her many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. A special thank you to the staff at Heritage House and St. Joseph Health Care Centre for their kindness, compassion and support. Friends may gather at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph, where visitation will take place on Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Family Vigil will take place in our chapel at 3:30 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Church of Our Lady Immaculate, 28 Norfolk Street, Guelph, at 10 am. Interment at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery. A Funeral Mass will be held at Church of Our Lady Immaculate, 28 Norfolk Street on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 10 am.
