At her home in Guelph, on the back deck reading and sunbathing. Just the thing she loved to do in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Douglas Mountjoy of Guelph. Loving mother of Sheri (Dave) Stevenson, proud grandmother of Madeira and Quinlan. Amazing fur mom to Curly, and the late Casey (her favourite dog).
Loving sister to John and his late wife Terri. Pat was a wrestling fan, and she shared that love with her niece Samantha (Mike) Glowinski and nephew Brian Anderson. She was an awesome great-Aunt to Madelyn, Harrison and Zoey.
Pat was loved by the Mountjoy family.
Pat found an incredible family in Ocklawaha, Florida. She was known for her big hugs, smile and love of line dancing. Thank you for the amazing love and support this family has given Doug and the family following her passing.
She formed amazing friendships especially with Sandy and Jon Grey. One day she asked Sandy to take her to Cowboy Church and she would line dance with her feet to all of the hymns. She developed a wonderful love for the Lord, and we are pretty sure she is giving Jesus a hug. Pat’s faith, strength and courage will be cherished by all who loved her.
“Courage is indeed a powerful way to live. And you can choose it every time”.
Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. As per Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
