Mary Dorothy Gaskell

GASKELL, Mary Dorothy - Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph on Friday, May 29, 2009. Mary D. (McKenna) Gaskell, 90 years of age, was the beloved wife of the late John Mathias Gaskell (March 31, 2008). She was the dear mother and best friend of Anne Manson and her late husband Jim (2009), Laurie Reynolds and her husband Rob and the late Carole Gaskell (1995). Mary is fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Jamie Manson (Martha), Jennifer Manson-Lakoseljac (Rob), Jody Manson (Tanya), John Manson (Carrie), Angela Prigione (Mike), Robbie Reynolds and Bradley Reynolds, and by her great-grandchildren, Jordan, Abby, Alex, Joshua, and Kyle. Mary was the loved sister of Joe McKenna (Bernice), and Tom McKenna (Helen), and sister-in-law of Rita McKenna. She was predeceased by her siblings Maurice and Anna McKenna and by her parents Joe and Dorothy McKenna. Special thank you to Sister Madeline for the care and compassion she gave our mother. Mary will always be remembered for her love, her kindness and her strong faith. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dubiln St. N., Guleph where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Vigil for Mary will take place on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m..
