Mary Patricia Cook

April 10, 1958 – March 13, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Cook on March 13, 2025, at the age of 66. Mary passed away peacefully at her home.

Mary was born to the late Katherine and David Goods. Loving sister of Peter (Judy), Ann (Ace), Susan (Bryan), and Christine (Gerald). She is survived by her loving children: Catharine Doucette (Shawn), Adam Calzonetti, and Matthew Cook (Nancy). She was a proud grandmother to Aidan, Olivia, Ella Rose, Max, Ian, Eve, and Finn. Her grandchildren brought her immeasurable joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Mary was a woman of strength, love, and generosity. She had a deep fondness for cooking, always finding joy in preparing meals for her family and friends. Her kitchen was a place where love was served with every dish. She also enjoyed her daily cup, or cups, of coffee. A lifelong Buffalo Bills fan, Mary was never shy about her enthusiasm for the team, often bringing a spirited energy to every game day.

In her retirement, Mary embraced the simple pleasures of life. Her strong-willed nature and caring spirit were evident to all who knew her.

A visitation will be held in her honor at Gilbert MacIntyre and Sons Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, ON, on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to share in the remembrance of Mary’s life, and we will miss her dearly.

May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
