McINTYRE, Marie-- It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marie McIntyre, on August 11th, 2013 at Wellington Hospice, Guelph, Ontario. She passed peacefully surrounded by loving family in an environment created to ease her transition to a much deserved reward in the afterlife. She is survived by her four children: Donald, David, Karyn and Dwayne, by daughters-in-law Barb, Michele and Tedi and by son–in-law Jeff, by her four grandchildren, Jacob, Sydney, Nathan and Jordan, by her sister Joan (late Thomas 1994), and by her brother Wayne and sister-in-law Yvonne. Our mother was the most unselfish woman we knew, who had unshakeable faith and touched so many lives with her kindness and humour. Marie’s devotion to her family was paramount; she will be missed tremendously every day and will be with us in spirit every step of our remaining journeys. A Memorial Mass will be held at the Church of Our Lady, 28 Norfolk St. Guelph, Ontario on August 14th, 2013 at 12 p.m. Immediately following the Mass, a celebration of Marie’s life will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Dublin Chapel, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, Ontario on August 14th, 2013 from 1-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. All are welcome to come to listen and share stories from this remarkable woman's life, with laughter and joy to be the only admission.
