Maisie Jean Marks James

Passed away peacefully at Eden House Retirement Home, Guelph, Ontario on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Jean James, in her 94th year, was the beloved wife of the late Howard Lyle James (1993). She was the dear mother of Peter (late Teresa), Margaret and Wendy, and the loving grandmother of nine grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean is survived by her siblings Anne Jennings (late Thomas), Donna Johnson (late Murray), Allan Marks (Eleanor) and Carol Gardiner (late Thomas). She was predeceased by her son John James and by her sister Bertha Hamilton (late Orville) and by her parents Arthur H. Marks and Jennie Madeline (nee Bussey) Marks.

Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Rockwood Chapel, 117 Guelph St., Rockwood, Ontario on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 12 – 1 p.m. The funeral service will follow immediately, in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment, Ebenezer Cemetery, Campbellville.
