Kathleen Barbara Murphy Boyce

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen Barbara Boyce on Monday, December 19, 2022 at the Guelph General Hospital. Barbara was in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Ronald James Boyce (1979). Cherished mother of Rob Boyce (Bev Crosgrove); Rhonda Rathbun (2005) (Barry); Kathy Boyce; Clifford Boyce (Jewel Stumpf). Grandmother of Ron Boyce and Michael Boyce (Saithip) Briley Crosgrove and Cody Crosgrove. Great Grandmother of Dustin, Hillary and Hugh. Predeceased by sisters Mona, Ena, Eileen and brother Thomas. Barbara leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Barbara kept a keen and witty sense of humour, was always optimistic, independent and on top of her game. She loved sports including Lawn and 10 pin bowling, golf, curling, swimming, watching baseball and hockey as well as playing Bid Euchre and Cribbage. She loved her family and friends, her dogs and always kept her faith in life.

She was a great Mom and Friend – forever there for us in good times and in bad. She lived a long and happy life and will be dearly missed and always in our hearts.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home- Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph. Family invite friends to a Graveside Service on Tuesday, January 3, 2022 at 11:00am at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2723 Victoria Street North, Breslau. A reception will follow in the Reception Lounge at 208 Silvercreek Parkway, Guelph. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
