It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, June Elizabeth Campbell (nee Dwyer) on Saturday, June 17, 2023. June was born in St. John's, Newfoundland on July 20, 1933. She lived most of her adult life in Ottawa.
June was the devoted and beloved wife of the late Gordon E. Campbell. Loving mother of Nancy Nicol, Peter Nicol and Elisabeth Nicol (the late John) and stepmother of the late Karen Edmonds (the late David) and Vaughan Campbell (Janet). She was the cherished grandmother of Andrew Nicol (Emily), Rebecca Nicol, Mark Edmonds and Gillian Campbell and great-grandmother to Arianne Nicol, Evander Nicol, Darian Nicol, and Galen Nicol. She will be missed by her loving brother Howard Dwyer (Margaret) and his children Karen Dwyer (Maurice), Keith Dwyer (Terri), and Stephen Dwyer (Jackie).
June is remembered for being full of love, kindness, and generosity. She loved to laugh and tell wonderful stories. She will be dearly missed.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph. As per June’s wishes, no visitation or funeral will be held.
