John Makowski

Passed away at his home in Guelph on Monday, December 12, 2022. John Makowski in his 93rd year was the beloved husband of Danuta (Czarnecki) Makowski and of the late Trudy (Gasperschitz) Makowski (1967). He was the loving father of Edward and his wife Roberte, Diana Endicott and her husband John and Agnes Makowski. John was the proud grandfather of Louise, Lynsey (Michele), Claire and Liz and great-grandfather of Elio. Predeceased by his brother Joe and by his sisters Vera and Janine. John will be deeply missed by all his family, Maria Pock, and his niece Dorothy and her husband Paul.

The family will receive their friends at Holy Rosary Church 175 Emma St., Guelph on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. and Interment in Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
