Avid canoeist, tennis player, amateur comedian and artist, John Donahue, passed away peacefully on February 7th, age 85.
He worked for over 30 years at CKCO (now CTV) as a reporter and cameraman.
Dear husband of Shirley, loving father of Ryan and his wife Jennifer of Guelph, fond grandfather of Zoë and Logan. He is predeceased by his parents and six siblings.
At his request, cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life reception will be held in the Spring in Guelph and his ashes will be spread at one of his favourite lakes near that time.
