Jim Keir

December 4, 1949-January 23, 2016

Jim, originally from Faifley, Scotland, immigrated to Guelph, Ontario in 1979. After a battle with cancer, Jim sadly passed away, Saturday afternoon, with his wife of 37 years, Vivien (nee Drake), by his side. Jim also leaves behind his children Rachael and Alistair. Jim will be greatly missed by his sister Helen (Andy) Gilfillan of Dumbarton, Scotland, and his sister-in-law Miriam (Alec) Currie. Jim will also be missed by his nieces and nephews in Scotland, extended family, many friends and his four-legged counterpart, Oliver.

Friends are invited to join the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Friday, January 29th from 2-4 and 7-9. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, January 30th at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Cremation to follow.
