Ian McVicar

Passed away with his family by his side at the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, November 28, 2013. Predeceased by his loving wife Beatrice (1988). He was the loving father to John (Dale), Gord, and Kathy. Cherished grandpa of Keely and Sean. Dear brother to Maureen (2013), Lawrie, and Fionna. Special brother-in-law and uncle to many Klein and McVicar family members. He will be missed by his wee Westie, Logan, who was his close companion, and by many friends at Cutten Fields where he was a long time dedicated member. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Sunday, December 1, 2013 where visitation will take place from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Hart Chapel on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11 am to celebrate Ian’s life, followed by a procession to Marymount Cemetery, Guelph for burial. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
