SIMPSON, Hazel Emma 1922-2011 Born in Waterdown, the eldest daughter of the late John and Jessie Burkholder. Died peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on September 19, 2011 in her 90th year. Wife of the late Russell Simpson (1970). Dear mother of Terrence (Jean Petsche) of Fergus and Hazen of Hamilton. Loving grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Sister of the late Ada Campbell, Marion (Bruce) Bowen of Burlington and Dora Clapp of Simcoe. Special friend of the late George Drummond. As Hazel requested, a private funeral was held. Interment has taken place at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Hamilton, ON. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph.
