She leaves behind former husband, Gyula Szonyi and the father of five loving children, Andrea (Joshua), Eva, Noemi (Imre), Julius (Szilvi), Richie (Morgan), and grandchildren Peter, Markusz, Noemi (Jr.), Nathan, Krisztian and David.
With a deep passion for God and her family, she continued to selflessly serve the less fortunate despite struggling with multiple medical illnesses herself. Although she didn’t have much, she always gave beyond her means, wholeheartedly and generously.
Mom was full of funny stories of her childhood that she loved to share and had an amusing sense of humor. She lived in Naples, Florida for several years of her life and always held a special place for it in her heart.
She will be greatly missed until we are reunited in heaven with her.
Eva's family will receive relatives and friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions and regulations, please register using the RSVP button for a time slot for the visitation or call the funeral home at 519-821-5077 to reserve your spot if you wish to attend. Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never die.” (John 11:25, 26)
