FERRARO, Dorothy Ann (MacGillivray) 1930-2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother at St. Joseph's Health Centre on Sunday, May 23, 2010. Wife of the late Angelo J. Ferraro (1994). Mother of Mary (Mike) Slade, of Guelph, Dolores (Rob) Howitt, of Guildford, England, MaryAnn Ferraro, of Guelph, Judy (Thom) Connolly of Guelph, Jeanette Ferraro, of Guelph, and Joe Ferraro, of Guelph and the late Donna Robinson (1994). Loved sister of Eugene MacGillivray, of Wendover, Nevada, Mary Christensen, of New Westminster, BC and the late Peggy (2002) and Eileen (2009). Dorothy was the very proud grandmother of Mark, David, Nicholas, Ann, Stephanie, Judy, Fabienne, Louis, Carson, Paul, Stacey, Brandon, Marilyn, Matthew and the late Steven (1988). Great-grandmother of her six little angels; Alexis, Kailyn, Charlie, Larissa, Juliana and Scarlett. Dorothy was an enthusiastic volunteer in the City of Guelph. She was coordinator of the funeral lunches, member of the benevolent fund and lifetime CWL member at Holy Rosary Parish, She coordinated Holy Rosary Parish Saturday night suppers at Chalmers Church, Red cross volunteer, regular blood donor and worked on the Sentinel Seniors publications. She was a proud member of the Guelph Trail Club. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Dorothy will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Marymount Cemetery.
