Cornelia Nellie Stokman

STOKMAN, Nellie-- Passed away at the Riverside Glen Retirement Home, Guelph, on Thursday, October 11, 2007. Nellie (nee De Jong) Stokman, in her 83rd year, was the beloved wife of the late Antonius (Tony) Stokman (July 3, 2005). She was the dear mother of Joanne and her husband Roy Davies of Newmarket, Dirk Stokman, Arthur and his wife Johanna, Anthony and his wife Marjorie, Nancy Stokman, all of Guelph, Angelina Stokman of Toronto, Frank and his wife Janice of R. R. 5 Rockwood, Mary Ann of Guelph, and Peter of Rockwood. Nellie is fondly remembered by sixteen grandchildren and by seven great-grandchildren. She is survived by four brothers and two sisters, all of Holland. Friends may call to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Rockwood Chapel, 117 Guelph St., Rockwood, on Sunday, October 14, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church, Oustic, on Monday, October 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment, St. Peter's Cemetery, Oustic.
