Colleen McGee

McGEE, Colleen M. (nee Ouellette) – Peacefully at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, on Friday, January 15, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Colleen M. McGee, in her 66th year, is lovingly remembered by her husband D’Arcy McGee. She was the dear mother of Karian (nee Russell) Guimond, Bobby McGee, and Melissa McGee. Colleen was the loving step-mother of Kelly (David), Tim (Patricia) and the late Susan. She was the cherished grandmother of Kane and Ivy. Colleen is survived by her siblings Linda, Kevin, Maryanne and Diana. She was predeceased by her parents Robert and Joan Ouellette and by her brothers Lawrence, Keith and Brian. Colleen was a director, and employed at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph, for over 26 years. Special thanks to the staff at Hospice Wellington for their care and support. Family and friends are invited the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, for a celebration of Colleen’s life on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellington Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
