Dearest Carol,

What a light you have always been. I was very saddened by the news of your passing. When I saw a notification from you show up on my phone yesterday, I was so excited because it meant that we had yet another opportunity to communicate…not so. There are few people in this world who genuinely exhibit humility, grace, and love for others notwithstanding their shortcomings; few actually live out their faith with conviction, authenticity, and purpose. You were one such person. In more recent times, we were not able to see one another too often, but when I would think of you, or talk to you, I would think of the fruits of the spirit; in particular, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, goodness, and of course, love. You were such a faithful person, and gave yourself to so many without reservation; with you, no one felt excluded, but rather special,  because you interacted with everyone, no matter their status in life. JUST. LIKE. JESUS. The earth has truly lost one of its remaining, and rare gems; this is heartbreaking. I will miss you dearly, and reflect upon the many times you brought your comforting and angelic energy into any space that my mom and I shared with you. Thank you for loving us so much over the years; we never had to question it. 

My sincerest condolences to the family of this beautiful soul. May God comfort you at this time. Until we meet again Carol; by the grace of God, next time it will be on the sea of glass, eating delicious fruits, free from sorrow and pain. We will be saying, “death where is thy sting, and grave, where is thy victory?” You may have departed, but your light will still shine into our hearts, and into this dark world, at a time when we need it the most.

Our sincere condolences to the Glyn-Williams family. Carol was such a caring and loving lady. She always showed concern and care for anyone she considered an acquaintance or friend. Carol and Victor have been long time friends of our family. 
Anytime we spoke to Carol, she was always busy cooking and updated us on all of the "goings on" with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

We are Victor's brother Joseph/ Sonja  and we live in Calgary.  When we would meet Carol & Victor in Calgary or in Toronto, we found Carol to always be genuine, warm and fun loving.  We admired her for her intelligence, her drive to succeed at whatever she did, her willingness to share information, her commitment to Victor, Boyd, Catharine, Donna, Matthew and her seven grandchildren.
When she spoke of her grandchildren, it was always with excitement, pride, love and joy. 
She was an amazing strong individual who was part of this family and we are very proud of what she stood for and how she dedicated her life to always helping others.  We are sorry for the loss.
Our love and prayers will continue to be said for her, may she RIP, and for our family members left behind, as they go through this difficult journey.

Auntie Carol was a beautiful human being. At all times, in all places, and in all circumstances I ever saw her.  I always quietly marvelled at how she was able to do that with all the trials/ injustices/insults/unfairness of daily life.  She is a testament to what we can be. Rest in peace Auntie Carol.

Carol has been  a most cherished soul sister/friend and a loving & positive presence in our family's life.

We met as young 18 year olds, newly wedded  to two Glyn-Williams brothers..

Carol's steadfast love, loyalty, her calm and joyful presence has been a constant in my life.    Her kindness,  sage advice, support,  encouragement & inspiration,  has lifted me through many challenging seasons.
I will miss her more than words can ever say,

I will miss our heart to heart chats at all hours of the day and night.

Carol and Errol shared a strong bond.   He will dearly miss her, the jokes they exchanged, her laughter and their chats.

Our hearts are full with gratitude and treasured memories of the happy times our families shared.  

Carol knows she lives on in our hearts.

Carol's faith, strength and resilience are a lesson on how to live and die with grace.

As she now dwells in her heavenly home, I have no doubt that she will 'wow' all souls with her culinary delights.

Dearest Victor, Boyd, Catharine, Donna, Matthew,  precious grandchildren and family,  may your cherished memories bring you comfort as she forever shines in your hearts.

Until Carol showed us .                                                                        We learned from her how to truly connect with the people you love.
In the end, love is all that matters.

My Dearest auntie Carol , had the warmest smile and joyous laugh. 
I remember best of all that she always had a way of making me and everyone around her truly feel seen. She saw every positive quality and talent and she also saw all of the flaws. She opened her heart and embraced them all and then showered you with enough love that you were inspired to become the best version of yourself. I loved her for that and will forever be grateful for the time I spent with her, especially my stays in the summer growing up.

I have been blessed by her amazing example, guidance and all that she has taught me.

My deepest condolences to uncle Victor and my dear cousins and to all her family and friends. We will miss her dearly.

Sincere condolences to  Carol's ( Ward) husband and family on the passing of a precious person I loved when  she lived with  Nen in Guyana .  We were neighbours at the time in 1961 and I   was about 8yrs old when I sliced my big toe and had to go to the Emergency Dept. We did  not have our own transportation so Ward  put me on her back and walked with me to the Georgetown Public Hospital to get the medical attention I needed. I never forgot her Kindness.
May the God of all comfort, comfort her loved ones in this time of bereavement.
