Brittany Garton

GARTON, Brittany Amber Margaret— Died peacefully at home, on August 14, 2015. She leaves behind parents Dale and Helen Garton brothers Christopher Sutherland (Lesley), John Sutherland (Sarah) and Joshua Garton (Nicole) and nieces Kaitlyn, Dallas and Mayia. Brittany was the cherished granddaughter of Muriel and John Garton and Faye and John Tait. She was a valuable member of ARC Industries where she was very active in the self-advocacy group and where she was very vocal in supporting the rights of herself and those of her friends. Visitation will take place at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Tuesday, August 18 , 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 19, at 1 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, a donation to the Community Living Self Advocate Group, to the Trillium Gift of Life Network or one’s donation of blood to Ontario Blood Services would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home (519-822-4731) or send condolences to www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com ).
