Gray, Brad Carmen, in his 75th year passed peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, March 20, 2025. He was a devoted husband to Marion (nee Devine) for 53 years and he was a cherished father and mentor to Bradley Jr.(Alison) and Jason (Susie). Loving Grandfather to Logan, Lachlan (Maddie), Taylor, Kody, Ashton (Keely), Hailey, Evan and Great Grandpa to Klayton.
Brad served as a paramedic with the Guelph and Wellington EMS and Royal City Ambulance for 33 years. He was a teacher, mentor and friend to all those he worked with. Often putting his own life on the line for complete strangers.
A lifelong hockey fanatic and Habs fan, Brad was the trainer for the Guelph Junior B's for many years. Known for his wit and constant one liners, Brad will be forever missed by those that loved him. He was a pillar of the community to those that have known and loved him.
He loved hockey, fishing, Tim Hortons, and most of all his family. We will all miss him very much, and are all better people for having loved him.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, ON (519-821-5077). Family invite friends and relatives to a visitation on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 10:00am to 11:00am. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 11:00am in the funeral home's Hart Chapel with Father Bergsma officiating. Reception to follow in the funeral home's Fellowship Lounge. Donations in Brad's memory can be made to the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital or to Hospice Wellington.
