Antonio Accardo

He leaves a lifetime of memories with his wife Leonarda (nee Piccione) of 74 years, his daughters Vita (Paul), Josephine (Brian), son Marco (Susan) and grandson Phillip (Katie).

He was the youngest of 5 children born to the late Vita (Camalia) and Marco Accardo. He was predeceased by all his siblings.

Antonio was born in Vita, Sicily and permanently immigrated to Canada in 1965 with his wife and three children. He owned a local variety store in Toronto until his retirement. He was blessed with a long retirement to enjoy his love of gardening.

He was extremely proud of his vegetables, a visit to his home always included a tour of the backyard walking through the garden showing off his yield of vegetables.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre for their exceptional care and support.

Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph ON. A Visitation for Antonio will be held on Thursday March 13, 2025, from 10:00-11:30AM. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:30AM in the funeral home chapel. Entombment to be held at Marymount Cemetery following the reception.
