Samuel V Cammarata

Samuel Vincent "Sam" Cammarata, Jr., 84 years old passed away on December 18th in Smithville, Texas. Sam was born on July 24, 1930 in Port Arthur, TX where he was raised, living there until his move to Smithville.

He is survived by his wife Juanita Cammarata of Port Arthur; daughter Rita Cammarata of Houston; nieces Frances Poole of Smithville, Juanita Bertsch of LaGrange, Karen Simon of Groves; nephews Marvin "Mack" Kasper of Smithville, Gary Kasper of Smithville, Mark Link of Nederland, Joel Link of Converse.

He is preceded in death by his son Scott Cammarata, brothers Joseph and Mitchell Cammarata, sisters Mary Kasper and Micky Link, parents Samuel Sr. and Frances Gentile Cammarata.

Services to be held on Saturday, December 20th at Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home. Visitation from 12:30 - 2:00, service at 2:00pm with burial at Greenlawn Cemetery to follow. Pallbearers are Mark Link, Joel Link, Nolan Simon, Steven Escagne, Irving Escagne,James Escagne and Robert Shipman,
