Rebecca Moore

Rebecca was born June 13, 1920 in Galveston, Texas to Alfred Ericksen and Rebecca Blum Ericksen. She was a homemaker and resident of Port Arthur for 68 years. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Arthur. She was a volunteer for 18 years at the Groves Senior Citizen Center where she was also a board member. She was a volunteer at Doctors Hospital for 9 years.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Moore, Sr. and son, Alfred Moore.

Survivors include her son, Mack Moore and wife Patricia of Nederland; daughter-in-law, Judy Moore of Port Arthur; three sisters, Agnes Brown, Charlotte Ericksen both of Galveston and Sylvia Yarborough of Splendora; seven grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2013 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Bryan Johnson, pastor of Central Baptist Church of Port Neches officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
