Elizabeth C. Ellas

Elizabeth Cole Ellas was born May 19, 1930 to the proud parents of Ras and Eula Cole in Kinder, LA. She departed this life on Dec. 25, 2011 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home. She attended the public schools of Kinder, LA. Elizabeth was a devoted mother and housewife for many years. She was a member of Christian Faith MBC for three years.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband John Ellas, Jr.; her father, Ras and mother, Eula Cole; one sister, Dora Cole Simpson; one son, Charles Martin; four brothers, Rufus Cole, John D. Cole, Jessie Cole, and L.D. Cole.

She leaves to cherish her memories four sons, Glen Martin, Donald Ray Cole, Michael Johnson, and Gary Ellas (Yolanda) all of Port Arthur, TX; one daughter, Darlene Morrow (Brady) of Port Arthur, TX; two brothers, Leo Cole (Marjorie), Reginald Cole of Port Arthur, TX; one sister, Joyce Martin; three sisters-in-law, Lillie Cole, Lou Ann Cole, all of Port Arthur, Rosetta Williams of Greenville, TX; also a host of loving and caring grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends and family.

Funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Christian Faith Baptist Church with a viewing from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
