Mrs Edna Forsythe

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11:00am at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with a 3:00pm burial in Greenlawn Mausoleum in Port Arthur, Texas. Officiating will be Brother Mark Tolar.

Visitation will also be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 9:00am until service time at funeral home.

Edna was born July 22, 1931 to Edward Thomas & Lometa Davis Ballew in Port Arthur, Texas. She was a former resident of Port Arthur and had lived in Woodville for the past 20 years. She was a retired 3rd grade teacher from William B. Travis Elementary in Port Arthur. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a beautiful Godly woman that loved her Lord & Savior.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Robert D. “Bobby” Forsythe on April 18, 2002; and her son, Gary Lynn Forsythe.

She is survived by her son, Mike Forsythe & wife, Stephanie of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Sarah & Danny Millikan, and Alicia Forsythe; great grandchildren, Robert “Bobby” Millikan and Ruby Millikan.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.
