Bernadine Rodriguez

Bernadine was born February 5, 1923 in Mallet, Louisiana to Olezenia and Dorsan Ceasar. She moved to Port Arthur in hopes of a better life with her sister. At the age of 19, she met John Frank Rodriguez, the love of her life and settled down in El Vista Village in Port Arthur. During the course of their marriage, they traveled across the United States extensively. Bernadine was a founding parish member of St. John Catholic Church until her passing.

Bernadine is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Frank Rodriguez; parents, Olezenia Guillory Ceasar and Dorsan Ceasar; five sisters, Savannah, Dorcina, Arena, Francis and Alcina.

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, church members and friends.

A Life Celebration for Bernadine Rodriguez will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., with services to begin at 11 a.m., at St. John Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. Repass at St. Johns Catholic Hall.
