Wendy L. Moore Irwin, age 53 of Chillicothe, formerly of Columbus passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022. Wendy was born in Columbus to Carolyn (née Stickel) and the late William Moore. She graduated from Westland High School, class of 1987. During her high school years, she participated in the swim and track teams. Wendy graduated from Bowling Green State University, Class of ’91. She was a store manager for Louis Vuitton and a business manager for Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Mt. Prospect, IL. She enjoyed genealogy research, gardening at her home, old homes and home tours. Wendy had a broad interest in Indian and West Virginia history as well as doing other historical research. She assisted author Gregory Foreman in research for his book, “The Forgotten Five Hundred”. She is preceded in death by her father, William C. Moore, grandparents, Clyde and Marguerite Moore, and Clayton and Cleo Stickel. Wendy will be greatly missed by her husband of 24 years, Craig R. Irwin; son Stephen Irwin; daughter Bridget Irwin; mother Carolyn Moore; and brother Paul N. Moore. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Schoedinger Grove City 4242 Hoover Rd (Hoover Rd at Kingston Ave) from 4-7 pm where her funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, October 14, 2022 with Pastor Doug Browne officiating interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery 300 Brookside Drive Chillicothe, OH 45601.
