She attended Central High School and worked for Columbus City Center for several years before retiring to take care of her family. Her passion for making things beautiful in this world carried into her love for crafts. She was well known for making the best cabbage rolls ever. She was the most compassionate and giving woman that we have ever known. She had a servants heart and those who knew her would say, "she has a heart of gold". Rhonda accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and that brings comfort to us to know that we will see her again in Heaven.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Smith; and siblings, Elizabeth Walls, Linda Faye Manning, Thurman Spaulding, Sharon Santiago, and Joanna Jordan. Rhonda is survived by her beloved daughter, Teresa (Jon) Parfitt; grandchildren, Jonathan (Rebecca) Parfitt, Jr., Raina (Garrett) Flowers, and Liliana Parfitt; great-granddaughters, Amelia Flowers and one soon to be, baby Parfitt; siblings, Barbara Kidd, Alta Abram, Deborah Smallridge, and Connie Houck; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City where funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment Grove City Cemetery – West.
