Naomi will be remembered for her nurturing and caring nature. As a devoted mother to her five children, she always made sure they had delicious home-cooked meals and put their needs first, no matter the circumstances. Alongside raising her children and later caring for her grandchildren, she worked diligently for many years at Anthony Thomas Candies. Naomi had a passion for travel, whether it was riding her bike around the neighborhood or taking family trips to Disney World, or on Disney cruises. Above all, Naomi cherished her faith and her relationship with God. She was an active member of the Cambodian Evangelical Church, where she formed many lifelong friendships. In the words of her children, Naomi was “the best mom” and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and church.
Naomi leaves behind her children, Madachoeun O’Brien, Monica Pel, Madachen Sok, Paul Pel, and Mitona Sieng; as well as her grandchildren, Justina Ker, Annika Sieng, Jaydon Sieng, Joshlyn Larkin, and Morriah Sok.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, February 27th, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30pm at Schoedinger Norris Grove City, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, starting at 9:00am at Schoedinger Norris Grove City, with pastor Chhom Chhoun officiating. Following the end of services at 11:00am, Naomi will be taken to rest at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, OH 43223.
