Margaret A. Lewis

Margaret A. Lewis, age 82 of Delaware passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023. Margaret was born in Amanda to the late John Orion and Margaret Ewing (née White) Dickson. She graduated from New Holland High School, class of 1959. Margaret was a staunch Democrat, and avid reader of mysteries, and always had the television on. She loved Kentucky Fried Chicken and all types of food (except beets). She loved baking Christmas cookies and giving them to family and friends as gifts. Margaret was over-indulgent with her generosity and loved to spoil her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Monte James Lewis; brother Jonathan Dickson; sister Jacqueline Potter; and step-daughter Kimberly Lynn (Danny) O’Hara. She is survived by her children Tammy (James) Wright, Terri (Joseph) Puckett, Dwayne Wright, Blaine (Dan Summers) Wright, Dean Wright, and Mony (Randy) Wilkins; grandchildren Candace Lewis, Conner and Alexis Wright; numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margaret’s family will receive friends 9:30AM – 11:30 AM Saturday, September 30 at Schoedinger Grove City 4242 Hoover Rd where her funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM.
