Lucinda Davis Campbell Stout was born 4/12/1929 in Washington Court House, Ohio to Mary Alice (Davis) Campbell and George Wesley Campbell. She died on 2/17/2023 at the age of 93. Lucinda “Cindy” was preceded in death by her parents, her husband-Richard Irwin Stout in 1996, her brothers Charles Davis Campbell and John Howard Campbell, and sister-Sandra Campbell Dunn. She is survived by three sons: Michael Richard Stout (Estelle) of Grove City, John Phillip Stout (Mariellen) of Beavercreek, & Daniel Charles Stout (Erin) with whom she made her home in Grove City, seven grandchildren: Anthony (Christy) Stout, Owen (Kristen) Stout, Gabrielle Stout(Lee), Luke Stout, Matthew (Katie) Stout, Amanda Davis Stout, Daniel Neil Stout (Courtney Starr), and 4 great grandchildren: Bailey, Dru, Michael & Maverick, many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins especially Susie (Barry) Brown and Ronnie (Martha) Campbell, former daughter-in-law Val Valentine, longtime friends Mark and Jeanette List and Pauline Mason, a good friend and part time care giver. Cindy graduated from Washington Court House high school in 1947, where she was a proud member of the marching band. During high school she worked at Patton's bookstore for several years. She attended The Ohio State University and later worked in the Southwestern City Schools as a bookkeeper and secretary. She was a founding member and attended Bethel Lutheran Church in Grove City, where she was an active member as long as her health permitted. Cindy had a gift for making friends and welcoming them both at church and in her home. Cindy will be missed by many. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City. Her family will also receive friends and guests one hour prior to her 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service that will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, 4501 Hoover Rd., Grove City. Pastor Peter Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery East. Contributions in Cindy's memory may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church.
