Lowell D. Sites

Lowell D. Sites, age 91, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023 at his residence with his family by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Caroline (Trosch) Sites, son, L. Steven Sites. Lowell is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Viola, son, Dave (Katherine) Sites, granddaughter, Sasha (Andrew) Hughes, 2 great granddaughters, Kayla and Sophie Hughes, nephews, Harry (Janet Lane) Sanders, Richard (Opal) Sanders, Steve Koenig, niece, Sharon (Don) Meade and a host of friends. He worked for IBEW Local 683 for 40 years before retiring as a Practicing Electrician. He was a former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Lowell enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and took many cross-country motorcycle trips with Viola in the side car, boating, camping, go-kart racing and working with his hands doing woodworking. He was a great handyman who could fix anything and had a steady hand to be an expert marksman. He and Viola spent 20 years in Paradise Park with their Airstream camper. A visitation time will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 12-1 pm at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY 4242 Hoover Rd (Hoover Rd at Kingston Ave) where a memorial service will follow at 1 pm.
