Lawrence C. "Larry" Sellers

Lawrence C. “Larry” Sellers, 83, of Grove City, died peacefully with family surrounding him on Saturday, September 28, 2024. He was born October 23, 1940 in Syracuse OH to the late Lawrence Edwin and Ruth (Flanagan) Sellers. He is preceded in death by his wife Donna Lovetta (Doenges) Sellers of 50 years and is survived by sons, Lawrence Jr. (Julie), Steven (Diane), and Eric (Michele); granddaughters, Diana (Zach Dallman), Kayla and Emily; brother David (Pam) Sellers; and many nieces and nephews. He was a long-time member of the Free Masons as well as recently celebrating 50 years of being in the Lions Club of Grove City and served as President in 1975. Lawrence retired from Hillyard Products in 2009 (formerly Rose Products) as the lead Chemist at Rose Products and Vice President prior to retiring. He truly loved everything to do with the science and mechanical world around us as well as being a WWII history buff. Lawrence also proudly served in the United States Army Reserves stationed at Fort Knox, KY. A visitation time will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY 4242 Hoover Rd. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 10 am with Dr. Brian Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grove City Lions Club 4118 Sassafras Ct.
