Lawrence Burchett

Lawrence Burchett, age 85, passed away on November 30, 2023 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on December 2, 1937 to the late John and Jessie (Hall) Burchett. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Bonnie, grandchildren, Crystal Burchett, Jennifer Blanton, siblings, Ida Mae Hart, Martha Bell Christian, Fred Burchett, Raymond Burchett, Jack Burchett, George Burchett, Willard Burchett. He is survived by his children, Betty (Douglas) Whitson, Larry Burchett, Tom Burchett, John (April) Burchett, Patricia (Lawrence) Lightle, grandchildren, Jessica Abel, Jamie Johnson, Cathy Burchett, Larry Burchett III, Carly Burchett, Caleb Burchett, Kasi (Eric) Morsey, John (Julie) Burchett Jr., Christina Mitchell, Ashley (Drew) Davis, Stephanie Mitchell, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and another great great grandchild on the way, brother, Paul Burchett, special nephew that was more like a grandson, JR Rawlins, many nieces, nephews and friends. Lawrence worked for the Grove City Farmer’s Exchange delivering bulk feed, he was also a farmer. He enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales, working on lawn mowers and small engine repair and red tractors. He and Bonnie enjoyed playing euchre together before she passed away. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 3-7 pm at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY 4242 Hoover Rd where his funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 10 am with Pastor Jeremy Stout, officiating. Interment will be at Muhlenberg Township Cemetery. The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice for all the care they provided to Lawrence.
