Kyle M. Watkins

Kyle Maynard Watkins met his Lord and Savior face to face on Sunday, October 22, 2023. He was born March 27, 1964 in Troy, Ohio to the late W. Maynard and Ramona Watkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, the lovely Linda Marie on May 21, 1998 and his sister-in-law, Susan Watkins on July 23, 2019. He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years Theresa Jean Watkins. They were married on October 16, 1999. Also survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Christopher) Volk of Monroe, Ohio; grandchildren, Lilian (Michael Leeper) Volk, Ethan Volk, and Gavin Volk; siblings, L. Jill (John) Greer, Bryan (Ellie), and twin Greg; and several nieces and nephews. To Kyle there was nothing more important than a personal relationship with Jesus. He was a faithful member of Pleasant View Baptist Church since 1992. His Celebration of Life Homecoming will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 27, 2023 at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 2525 Gantz Rd., Grove City, Ohio 43123. Pastor Brandon Wilson officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the start of his service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Pleasant View Baptist Church Youth Ministry. It is Kyle’s wish that you wear bright colors, especially yellow, if you are attending the service. Positively no black clothing. Why?
