Judith Ann Crumbacher (nee Cooley), age 84, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on December 19, 2024. Born in North Lima, Ohio, Judy spent her youth there before creating a life full of love, family, and adventure.
Judy was a skilled hairdresser and beautician, but she found her true joy in serving others for 20 years as a lunch lady in a school kitchen.
Judy was a passionate sports fan, and loved all sports. She was known to have two TVs side by side to ensure she never missed a moment of any game. Her loyalty to the Ohio State Buckeyes was unmatched. Every year, she would count down the weeks until the first football game.
Above all, Judy's greatest joy was her family. She and her husband of 61 years, Tom, shared a love of travel, exploring destinations across the country. Their favorite spots included the scenic landscapes of Utah out west and the beautiful coast of Maine, where Judy especially loved the serene beauty of lighthouses.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Earl and LaRue Cooley, and her sister-in-law Patty Cooley.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Tom Crumbacher; son Steve (Laura) Crumbacher; daughter Jill Crumbacher; grandchildren Alexandra (Shane) Crumbacher and Dominic Crumbacher; brothers Roger Cooley and Ken (Alice) Cooley; nieces and nephews Seth Cooley, Sara (John) McDonald, Leann (Bill) Rich, and Mark (Jennifer) Cooley.
