Dear Ben and Katie, 
     I am so sorry for your loss.  Your dear parents were devoted to both of you and loved you very much. I have one memory that stands out about your Dad.  When I took the 8th graers camping at LMC, I mentioned to your Mom that we were going to make S'mores at our campfire but that I always worried about students falling into the fire to heat their marshmallows.  She told your Dad and he made me about 15 long skewers and painted the ends red so the students could see how far they needed to lean into the fire.  It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture.  I used those skewers for at least 10 years and I have them packed somewhere in my mounds of stuff in case I might need them again!  I will keep the both of you and your children in my thoughts and prayers.  Thinking of you during this difficult time.  Ms. Hartley

I am so sorry about your Dad, He was such an awesome person. I know your mom was there to greet him with open arms and smiles. My prayers, hugs and love are with all of you.

God speed, my friend.  I already miss your help and humor you graced me with over the years.

I volunteer at the Grove City Food Pantry where I was lucky to work with Jim and Jim was always ready to lend a helping hand to get the work done. Jim was a great man and a good friend. I will always miss Jim as will many others who knew him.

I’ve known Jim since the sixth grade.  Always such a nice guy.  We got in trouble together in middle school. We were on the football team and track team at Grove City. I always enjoyed being around Jim. Will miss you brother. RIP Jim!

Having employees like Jimmy made my job so much easier. He was a great pipe-fitter and friend to all that knew him!!!

I met Jim this past year when he started comming to our blacksmith club. I found him to be a very sensitive caring man whith a sharp sense of humor. He kept us laughing. He cared deeply about his family and friends. He would skip the meetings sometime to be with his family and I would tell him that he needed to get his priorities straight.

He was a man of faith and he knew that this earth was not his home.  

Jim had trouble seeing so he struggled with blacksmithing. But he loved it and he worked harder at it than anyone I've ever seen.  It was a true pleasure to watch him work.

While I didn't know Jim very long, he was good people and I'm proud to call him my friend.

Loved working with Big Jim at food bank. He was funny and had great stories. We laughed as we loaded and unloaded trucks telling stories of back in the day. We will surely miss him

Ben, I am so sorry for your loss. Your parents were always involved with the kids. Praying for you and your sister, I know it is hard but you will see them again.  Prayers…

Jim (big Jim) sure will be missed we worked with Jim for a lot of years at the Grove City Food Pantry.  Anything that you needed done Jim was there saying here let me get that. He was a Great man.
