Eric Wayne Eldridge, born November 1, 1971, passed away peacefully in his sleep August 31, 2022. He fought hard every day for three years since his original diagnoses of lung cancer in June of 2019. You would have never known that he was sick from the dedication and strength that he portrayed in his day-to-day activities. Eric graduated from Teays Valley High School in 1990 and went on to work on semis as Foreman for Peterbilt in Grove City, Ohio. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life, having the knowledge and ability of hundreds of men. He was always in constant motion and took on numerous tasks. Most notable were the countless hours he put into his Harley Davidson and the house he built for him and his family. If you ever talked to him about either, he’d have pictures to show you of his bike or the wood he stained together as a family that was on the ceiling in the kitchen. He was preceded in death by his father Greeley; brother David; mother-in-law, and a brother-in-law. Our intelligent, sarcastic, hilarious backbone-of-a-man lives on through his wife, children, grandchildren, mother, brother, and many friends. Eric was not one for formality for the sake of tradition, so we ask you to come dressed as you would be when going to spend time with him in life. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City.
