With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Dennis, brother, cherished husband, devoted father, doting grandfather and great grandfather, and beloved friend. Dennis entered this world in Erie, Pennsylvania, in 1941 and peacefully departed on April 25, 2024. His life was a testament to love, integrity, and the joy found in the simple pleasures of life.
Dennis' journey began at Cathedral Prep, where he graduated in 1959, laying the foundation for a remarkable life ahead. For over five decades, he dedicated himself to the retail business, ascending from general manager to the esteemed position of Vice President of Sales. His leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to excellence left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
While Dennis found fulfillment in his professional endeavors, his true happiness resided in the loving embrace of his family. He was married to his devoted wife, Susan, for 38 years, whose unwavering love and support were the cornerstones of his life. Together, they shared a bond strengthened by love, mutual respect, and countless cherished memories.
Beyond his professional and familial roles, Dennis found solace and joy in life's simple pleasures. His love for golf was matched only by his passion for the perfect lawn, meticulously cared for and nurtured to vibrant green perfection. Bowling alleys echoed with his infectious laughter and competitive spirit, where friendships were forged and cherished.
Dennis' memory will be forever treasured by his children, Dennette, Dennell, Brian, Brent, and Grant, Siblings, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, who were the light of his life and the source of his greatest joy. Their love sustained him through life's challenges and brought warmth to every moment they shared.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tunnel to Towers (https://t2t.org/), in honor of Dennis' memory and his commitment to making the world a better place.
A celebration service of Dennis' life will be held 11:00 a.m. with visitation following until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City, Ohio.
