Charles K. “Chuck” Neff, age 89 of Grove City, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022. Chuck was born in Ashville, OH to the late Charles H. and Dora (née Osborne) Neff. Chuck was a proud US Army veteran of the Korean War. He had a long sales career with Harry Wellnitz Block Company and Oberfield Block Company. He was very active in the Masonic Order for over 65 years. Chuck was a member of the Luther B. Turner Lodge F&AM 732 until it merged with Magnolia Lodge F&AM #20. He was an honorary member of Hiram Lodge F&AM #18, Avon-Miami Lodge F&AM #542 and Grove City Lodge F&AM #689. Chuck was also a Past Grand Master for the Grand Lodge of Ohio. He was a longtime and faithful member of the Grove City United Methodist Church. Chuck was a people person who never met a stranger. He was known for his crazy and loud socks he enjoyed wearing. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years who he dearly missed Mary Neff; sisters Betty Smith and Ruth Roese; and brother Ralph Neff. Chuck is survived by his son Greg (Cathy) Neff; grandchildren Steven (Kristin) Neff and Maddi (Kyle) Williams; great-grandson Stetson Neff; sisters Sonja (Michael) Roese and Cathy Nunnamaker; and many nieces and nephews. Chuck’s family will receive friends 4-7 PM Thursday, October 6 at Schoedinger Grove City 4242 Hoover Rd (Hoover Rd at Kingston Ave) where his funeral service will be held 10 AM Friday, October 7.
