Caitlyn Glyn Laughlin

Caitlyn Glyn Laughlin, 35, passed away on September 20, 2023. She was born February 16, 1988, in Kansas City, Missouri to Delmar Ray "Butch" Laughlin, Jr. and Lori McCammon. Caitlyn is survived by her pride and joy, her son Liam Patterson; her mother Lori McCammon; sisters Rebecca Laughlin and Stefanie (Brad) Lucas; father of her son, Josh Patterson; nieces Erin and Lauren Perry, and Olivia Lucas; nephews, Zane Yadon and Carson Lucas. She was preceded in death by her father, Delmar; paternal grandparents, Edith and Delmar; and maternal grandfather Glenn.

Caitlyn was a graduate of Liberal High School. After high school she went on to graduate with her associates degree in Veterinary technology. She worked as a vet tech for many years. Working with animals was her passion. Most of all, she loved being a mother to Liam. She was so proud of his pitching skills and that he recently made a traveling baseball team.

To know Caitlyn was to love her and her beautiful smile. Anyone who crossed paths with her instantly became her friend. She had the most caring heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her dream was to eventually become a drug and alcohol counselor. She loved helping people in need and felt that it was her true calling.

Visitation will be held 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City. Caitlyn’s memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Caitlyn's mother, Lori McCammon to set up a fund for Liam's future.
