Brenda Joyce Selvage

Brenda Joyce Selvage, 79, of Grove City, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023. She was born May 3, 1944 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to the late Joseph and Julia (Stephens) Hunter. She was married 60 years to her beloved husband, Butch. Together they formed Selvage and Associates LLC and operated it from 1973 until their retired in 2017. Brenda was the day to day operations manager for their company. She was a member alongside her husband at the BPOE #37 in Grove City. She was an avid reader and loved to tend to her flower garden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Butch Selvage and brother, Elmer Hunter. Brenda is survived by her son, Joseph “Jody” (Kathleen Hathaway) Selvage, of Orient, OH; granddaughters, Leanne Estes of Canal Winchester, OH and Shana Rae Selvage of Grove City, OH; great-granddaughter, Everley Sky; siblings, Ron (Deb) Hunter, Maudie "Tot" Byrd, Joann Walgamuth, and Pat Glover; and many other relatives and friends. Butch and Brenda loved to eat at the China Bell, 1947 Stringtown Rd, Grove City, so in honor of them, a celebration of their lives will be held 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
