William W. Hayduk

Hayduk, William "Bill" passed away on November 29, 2008 at the age of 85. He was born on April 13, 1923 in Goodeve, Saskatchewan to John and Theodosia Hayduk. Mr. Hayduk served in the Army during WWII and was recalled to serve in the Air Force during the Korean war attaining the rank of Captain. On June 19, 1948 Mr. Hayduk married Elaine Formaniak just one week after graduating from the University of Michigan. He retired from Chrysler as an engineer in 1987. Mr. Hayduk belonged to the Grosse Pointe Senior Men's Club and enjoyed to travel worldwide with his wife. Along with his wife he is survived by his three sons; Mark (Sharon), Brent (Rayisa) and Don (Crystal); grandchildren Matthew, Stephen, Jessica, Katie and Megan and his sister Barbara. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday December 5 at Noon at A.H. Peters Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Capuchins 1820 Mt. Elliott, Detroit, MI 48207-3496.
